As well as multiple design project requirements these teams may also be responsible for other activities such as R&D, MRP/ERP, purchasing, programming for CAM, and communicating with other key personnel. Stevenson Design Engineering is home to highly motivated, creative individuals with a vast amount of skills in all areas of Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing. From a simple 2D cad drawing for the architect to the more complex Finite Element Analysis study. SDE has all the experience and resource necessary to ensure that every requirement is met to the highest standard.
We are privileged to be able to work on projects and develop products from many industry sectors across the spectrum. Our ability to do so only strengthens our knowledge base each time. SDE MD Matthew Stevenson grows beard in support of Movember men’s health charity fundraiser

It is always difficult working with anyone new, especially via a remote link, I am very pleased to say that he made things very easy for us. Matthew suggested improvements which solved problems experienced in earlier versions and I am pleased to say the manufacture progressed much more smoothly. The cost was reasonable and I will be pleased to work with Matthew on other projects once this one is completed.

From our first meeting I could tell Matthew was up to speed and could grasp the enormity of the required project. There were a significant amount of jigs and fixtures that needed to be designed in a VERY short lead time. Matthew delivered on everything promised, consequently, we achieved the promised date for the 1st prototype and PPAP sign off, plus we managed to deliver the 1st 5 off pre-production units on time. Because Matthew stuck to a very difficult schedule, we went on to successfully win the production orders of a International OEM. This work is keeping a six man cell employed full time. I have no hesitation in recommending Matthew. He will be our go to person on future projects.
